Christina Schreiber, founder and managing director of the Tuttlingen-based association Women For Women e.V., has been committed to providing sustainable support for women in Kenya since 2011. With passion and perseverance, she campaigns for better living conditions, economic independence and social justice for disadvantaged women.
Commitment to women in Kenya
Under her leadership, Women For Women e.V. has launched effective projects – including the cow multiplication program, in which Kenyan women receive a dairy cow to build up their own source of income. She also initiated the Home Based Care program – helping people in need with food and medication.
Women’s aid with personal commitment
Christina Schreiber travels to Kenya and Uganda several times a year to see for herself how effective the projects are and to support new initiatives on the ground. The direct exchange with the women is a central element of her commitment.
Public relations in Germany
Christina Schreiber regularly organizes charity events, lectures and fundraising campaigns in Tuttlingen and the surrounding area. It makes the work of Women For Women e.V. visible and inspires many people to get involved in the advancement of women worldwide.
