Our concept of cattle breeding

cattle-breeding

Upon receiving a cow, the women agree not to sell it and to return the firstborn calf or young bull to Women For Women Kenya after eight to ten months. Until then, the cow remains the property of Women For Women. Only then does the cow belong to the woman herself and, of course, any further offspring.

The first born calf is given by Women For Women to another needy woman. Young bulls are sold and part of the running costs of the C.B.O. are covered with the proceeds.
